Fortior Law is a growing international law firm specialising in dispute resolution in the areas of international trade, shipping and finance. We are looking for a Junior Associate / Paralegal to join our Tbilisi practice and to work under the supervision of our Partner, Rusudan Gergauli. Role Overview:

You will handle diverse legal matters, primarily focusing on dispute resolution in international trade, shipping and finance. Most of our disputes work is governed by English law. Almost all the work is in English.

Main Requirements:

• Admission to practice in Georgia / willingness to re-qualify as an English solicitor
• Fluency in English
• General understanding of English law in the areas of international trade, shipping and finance
• General understanding of English law principles applicable to international arbitration
• Ability to use English legal databases, such as Westlaw and Practical Law

It will be an advantage if you:

• Speak Ukrainian and/or Russian
• Studied in English outside of Georgia
• Have experience in Georgian shipping law / arrest of ships
• Have experience in Gafta, FOSFA, LMAA arbitrations

Role Overview:

Main Requirements:

• Swiss Bar Admission: You must be admitted to practice law in a French-speaking Swiss canton, preferably Geneva.
• Fluency in French and English: proficiency in both languages is essential. Candidates who also speak German will be given priority.
• You must have experience in the following fields:

• International arbitration
• Swiss corporate and commercial law;
• Applications for interim measures;
• Enforcement of foreign arbitral awards/court decisions in Switzerland.
• Knowledge of legal databases (LexisNexis UK, Westlaw, etc)
