Olivier specialises in white-collar criminal law, international judicial assistance in criminal matters, and complex civil dispute litigation. Olivier also advises clients on all aspects of real estate financing, acquisition, development, and construction projects.
Admitted to the Geneva Bar in 1996, Olivier began his legal career at Cramer & de Preux, where he completed his training between 1994 and 1996. He later became the Founding Partner of Cramer-Salamian, a position he held from 2006 to 2018. Olivier is also a former First Secretary of the Young Bar of Geneva and is fluent in French, English, and Italian.
Olivier has extensive experience representing Swiss and international private and institutional clients in high-stakes, multi-jurisdictional matters, including:
- Acting for the main defendant in Switzerland in a USD242M fraud and money laundering case linked to one of Brazil’s largest retail banks, securing a plea bargain.
- Obtaining the release of approximately USD8M in assets seized in the Petrobras investigation, as well as USD40M in assets frozen in a major money laundering and corruption probe.
- Representing claimants in high-profile divorce proceedings, achieving asset allocations of up to CHF23M.
- Advising and representing prominent Swiss and foreign companies in complex cross-border disputes involving freezing orders, interim injunctions, and other provisional measures.
