We mainly focus on disputes concerning international trade in commodities (agricultural products, crude oil, petroleum and gas products) and other related fields (shipping, finance, joint ventures, internal corporate disputes). We also provide transactional services in the same areas (reviewing and drafting trading and other contracts, shareholders and joint venture agreements, sanctions policies). Fortior Law S.A. runs multiple LCIA, LMAA, SCAI, SCC, ICC, ad-hoc and other arbitrations, as well as English Court proceedings. We have a growing investment arbitration practice. We also represent clients in WTO law related matters (anti-dumping investigations, price undertakings other related issues). Fortior Law (Switzerland) S.A. is a law firm licenced by the Geneva Bar Association and provides Swiss law services concerning local matters. We represent clients in Swiss Court proceedings in relation to commercial disputes: commodity trading disputes and related matters such as freezing injunctions, enforcement of foreign judgments and arbitration awards, winding-up proceedings. We also represent clients in white-collar criminal proceedings (financial fraud, money laundering, company mismanagement, forgery of documents and other related matters). We set up business in Switzerland including: establishing Swiss companies and charitable associations, opening bank accounts, arranging accounting and audit support, obtaining residence permits, preparing internal documentation (board and shareholder resolutions, employment contracts, sanctions and other policies) and contracts with external service providers.
